Description: Band sound is in the vein of Ryan Adams, The Band, and the Rolling Stones.
Biography: Lonely and the Socialites will be releasing a debut recording titled Mirrored Diary in the Summer of 2010. Crazy Eight – the lead singer and songwriter of the band was an English major from the University of Virginia. Mr. Eight studied in London as well. He has recorded with producer Bob Johnston who recorded albums such as Live From Folsom Prison and Highway 61 Revisited among many others. Crazy Eight was run over by a car in 2009 while on foot crossing the street… broken bones. Otherwise, the album would have been an earlier release – 2009. This is all true. Mr. Eight is in his lower- mid 30’s. Members in the band are from Oakland, CA and have performed with John Lee Hooker, Lady Bianca, Maria Muldaur, and Craig Horton.

Have you have heard the saying “Failure is not an option.” I disagree with this statement because failure is an option. We must have failures and setbacks to become better individuals. Without failures, you become egotistical and prideful but with failures you are reminded that you cannot accomplish your goal alone and failures bring personal growth that can inspire you to persevere forward.
